The phone rang, I got a POLL call just now

We have had several calls from Salt Lake City in the last few weeks. I looked at the caller ID, and answered. It was an automated poll on a state legislative race. Problem was, I'm not in the district (their mistake) they asked about. All I could do was answer 3: undecided.

I'm still hoping that I get a call on a Federal race. Since we have our home number on our election records and we voted in the primary, we just might get another one. :-)

So I've had no calls, no canvassers, no election material hung on my doorknob. That's exactly the way I like it because for me, my home is a place of refuge.

2. Can you believe I got one of those at work today? We have rollover

phones, so if the receptionist is engaged, the calls then rollover to the back offices, and I picked up and it was an anti-union recording. I should have listened to the whole thing, but as soon as I realized what it was, I hung up.
