Great discussion on Barack Obama on belgian television
I saw a discussion about the U.S. election with a hard hitting reporter, a socialist writer, a centrist newspaper editor and a right-wing politician.

ALL THREE would vote for Obama. :bounce: When cornered about his choice, the right-wing politician, Jean-Marie Dedecker, said Obama is still to the right of him...and he wasn't disproven :-)
The socialist, Tom Lanoye, said he saw Obama as a mixture of MLK and a young Nelson Mandela.
They all agreed Obama's campaign is next-generation.
They agreed even more vigorously that Obama is a GREAT speecher, and an illustrative clip was played.

Tom Lanoye said even though he criticizes the administration, America has to be praised for Barack Obama's candidacy and success.

:toast: keep it up folks!

And I stayed up till 2.30 watching a rerun...
