Hank Jr - WTF is up with he and Palin?
Edited on Wed Oct-29-08 09:37 AM by RT Atlanta
Last night while I was watching Larry King, they kept cutting to live shots of Palin at Penn St. - there standing just beside her was Hank Jr. looking like a goon with all of his crazy facial jestures and head nodding going on with the governor. They seem to be kindred spirits as this is not the first time "Ol Hank" has campaigned with her.

On edit: My wife's comment was that Hank is the only musician McCain/Palin can get to endorse them so that have to haul him around everywhere. Meanwhile, you have all kinds of acts behind Obama/Biden - very telling!

10. There's another old saying:
What do cowboy hats and hemorrhoids have in common?

Answer: Sooner or later, every asshole has one.

2. He's a drunk and a drug addict
Who gives a shit what that asshole thinks?

Thank God the "All My Rowdy Friends" song on MNF was phased out.

3. Did you see him singing at one of her rallies?
He proved without a doubt that he has his father's name, but not one atom of his musical talent.

5. You wouldn't say that if you saw this performance
His pitch was whacked, and he forgot the words over and over. Could have been impairment.

11. Hank Williams the Third (Hank III) is living proof
that talent can skip a generation!

Hank Jr. is, was and always will be a mediocre hack who lives off the fame of his father.

6. I'm not sure I would call either musically talented, 3 major chords
and a relative minor doesn't take much talent but Sr. was a poet, no doubt, and a good one.

7. Well being a poet counts for a lot
This was absolutely embarrassing. They might as well have invited Joe the Plumber to sing.

9. It sounds like he was screwed up enough to let his vocals get out...
of his natural range. He should have stuck a finger in his ear. If I show up to church with a hangover that's what I do. Try it, it works.

12. But he was singing his own hit song
he sucked. Nothing would have helped him.

8. Why?
It seems Bocephus re-worked "Family Tradition" into a gawd-awful McCain/Palin anthem. It was sent to radio a few weeks ago.
