Poll question: A McCain-Palin rally was cancelled due to rain.
Was this the real reason? Or was it something else?

A. real reason; they may be mavericks, but they're not about to stand in the rain!

B. real reason, either McCain or Palin (or both) would melt in the rain

C. real reason, (see my take in reply)

D. cheap excuse, they hate each other so much, they can't stand to be in the same room with each other

E. cheap excuse, they love each other so much, people would be disgusted by the sexual tension between the two

F. see my cheap excuse in reply

1. They didn't want anyone to see the
throng of several dozen of supporters frowning and holding runny signs.

2. If you schedule a rally and nobody shows up to see it ...
... is it really a rally?

Personally, I think it's a combination of B & D - although I'd have gone for the sole purpose of seeing nobody there .

4. F -- They know they don't have any devoted enough followers to show up in the rain.
Obama, however, would draw thousands. McCain and Palin know it.

6. F - Their hundreds of $ of make up would not survive the rain.
McGrumpy would really look old and all of his skin spots would be clearly visible.

9. lack of interest seems to be the winner
I know when we were protesting the war, the first summer the right wing whacks would show up with their flags on warm sunny days but we always knew we'd have peace and quiet when the weather wasn't perfect. Fair weather American's.

15. Water would melt McPain's make-up and Palin herself
Not to mention 99.99% of the audience - though the coven is not really that big right now.

I want to assure any Wiccans reading this that I'm not talking about that kind of witch here! More the Wicked Witch of North kind.
