If Obama is elected
Edited on Tue Oct-28-08 05:57 PM by Klukie
I really hope he continues to tap into the energy and power of the people. Just look at what he did with this election. He recognized the future of this democracy and he grabbed it. Just imagine the good he/we can do if he continues to think outside the political box. I have great hopes for this man and our future. He has what this country has lacked for so long.......VISION. I really can't wait to cast my vote.

1. Don't do that
Don't count any chickens until they're hatched.

Until it's a done deal, the ideal subject line is "If Obama is elected," please. Please. Please.

Even Obama has cautioned against that kind of false confidence.

Please. Please. Please. Let's not invoke any kind of hubris. Strange things happen.

And have a wonderful time voting. I did it via absentee ballot a few weeks ago, and it felt great!

5. Thank you so much
I have had my stomach in knots for weeks now, and as superstitious as I wish I weren't, still, I'm jumping on every little thing. Thank you for understanding.

If I make it through the next seven days, I'm going to have such a serious drug habit, I'll need rehab....................

4. I think Democrats are well aware through Sen.Obama that we have to
Edited on Tue Oct-28-08 06:08 PM by snappyturtle
get out and vote. He's issued the admonition and we've heard it. What I like in Tangerine LaBamba's post is the vision part.....good way to put what Sen.Obama is outlining for the nation. And, just LET the repukes think and worry over this. They know we're coming(to the polls)en masse and are confident of a win. Democrats have learned the hard way in 2000 and 2004 so I have complete confidence that they'll vote.....in landslide fashion. I also think others will vote for Sen.Obama just to jump on the bandwagon....you know, SOME will do that....those low information type voters that solely vote to go with a winner.

edit spelling and what I wrote I thought about the other day. We hear about the Bradley effect but what about the Bandwagon effect?
