In other words, maybe we have already won the election?

2. Possible, but Don't EVEN suggest that. EVERYONE needs to vote regardless. NO LETTING UP. Period.

6. Even a 'landslide' isn't enough. EVERY vote counts ... nothing short of CRUSHING the GOP will do.
The wider the margin then the greater the motivation to make it even wider. Be a part of history in the most lop-sided defeat of the GOP ever ... or at least since the Great Depression.

It's about time the people of this country woke up and stopped voting themselves into subservience to tyrants!

3. Early voting doesn't roll across the country from east to west -
California has early voting (around 2 million voters so far, according to this article: http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2008/10/27/early-voting-update-democratic-voters-get-the-edge/?mod=googlenews_wsj )

So do most of the western states.

7. the percentage of people voting early is not enough to declare we've won before 11/4
People need to be encouraged to get out and vote if they haven't already voted.

8. Could be
If Obama wins Virginia and Florida early then the door will be shut on McCain. As for West Coasters not voting I don't see that. Everyone will want to say they voted for Obama. I am in CA and not early voting, haven't decided if I'll vote in the morning or very late in the day.

11. "In other words, maybe we have already won the election?"
Without giving them a chance to flip the central tabulators?

Nope.
