His sentence is irrelevant with respect to the right to vote.

4. It may depends on the meaning of conviction -

For felonies, there is always an appeal of right (i.e. one that cannot be denied). It may be that the conviction is not treated as final until after the conclusion of the appeal (or the expiration of the right to appeal period). In a quick look, I didn't see anything that clarified that question.

hasn't been completed. Not next time, though, because Alaska has a moral turpitude clause in their law.
