Why we should not discourage the Sarah Palin worship...
I think we can see the direction of the Republican Party if they choose Sarah Palin to lead it. She's going to clean up the "mess" in Washington. She is a "maverick" - like John McCain. She wants to "reform" Washington. Why is this good for the Democratic Party?

Because her message will divide the Republican Party like no one in a long time. They don't want to hear about reforms or taxing oil companies or cleaning up the "mess" in Washington. They just don't want to be caught. If they are caught, they would prefer to blame someone else. She's a walking contradiction. She's a Republican "populist". Does anyone think that is a message that will sell across the entire Republican Party? I seriously doubt it. That is why I think we should not discourage the Republican worship of their new leader, Sarah Palin. She will divide the Republican Party straight down the middle, in my opinion.

1. Ah, but when they lose the election, they will be very quick to blame her.
I suspect that she'll be Katherine Harris'ed in no time.

2. I agree! Bring her on - the more she talks, and spews her vitriol, the better for the
Dems!

3. iirc, she actually said she wanted to "reform this country," not just Washington.
Makes my blood run cold to think what she may have in mind.

4. I could see how she could become an asset to the Democratic Party...
Even with parts of her message.
