Early Voting Observation in NC: "Repuke Sarah Palin Lovers are CLUELESS"
Edited on Tue Oct-28-08 11:22 AM by leftchick
I know this comes as no surprise but it still stuns me to listen to these people in person, when I can not escape. I had a repuke with knock-off Channel sunglasses in front of me and in back one repuke on the phone concerned about "Brown Town"? wtf is that? She was joined by a fellow shallow repuke GFF after we stood in line for almost an hour. She felt no need to explain how she came to be there while everyone in back of her had been there for at least an hour. And she talked and talked and talked about BS shit and about the parts of the ballot they had no clue about, like judges, bonds, etc. These women are as vacuous as their adorable Sarah.

My punishment: I was forced to listen to the loud banter between the palin lovers for the next 20 minutes. I have never known such conceited, venal and ignorant voters like these two ever! They really showed their idiocy by exclaiming how great a turn out for voting it was! They have no idea obviously that traditionally that benefits Democrats. They also were pissed off at getting a voter guide from a roving Democratic worker on how to vote and whom to vote for. One mcsamebot stated: "They need a trash can before we go in". I found it extremely helpful for voting for the so called non-partisan judges on the ballot. Obviously the local RNC was not savvy enough to try this "ballot primer" themselves with their candidates. Though I doubt that ever occurred to these morans.

Anyway, voted and did my penance all in one and a half hours. Painful but worth it.

:)

1. I love love love your sigline picture.
I'm one of those voters who waits until the day of the election. There is something special to me about voting on THE DAY of the election. There are never lines at my polling place, though, thankfully. I've only seen one Obama sign and it was across the bridge. The rest are McCain signs and local Dixiecrat signs. *gag*

2. thank you!
I would love it for a bumper sticker but alas, I live across the street from the church and school my children attend. I do have a Catholics for Obama sticker on my car! :)

3. In Raleigh, at least, "Brown Town" is racist slang for the area out New Bern Ave. EOM

5. I suspected it was racist
but never having had racist acquaintances I was not sure. For the record I am a transplanted upstate NYer here in the Carolinas.
