3. Describing Keith as far-left is just absurd
Keith calls out the right-wing on their hypocrisy, lies, and radicalism. She also called MSNBC as being the "left" alternative to Fox even though MSNBC has uber-right wing mouthbreathers like Joe Scarborough hosting all morning. When does Fox ever deviate from far-right-wing talking points?

Campbell Brown is ok, if she really wants to do what she claims than I'll become a big fan. I've watched her and do think she is one of the better ones on CNN which definitely does have a right-wing slant. I completely agree with her that the idea of "balance" is ridiculous when it means things like giving equal time to all sides and things like that. If someone is lying, the press should call them on it - plain and simple. When the McCain campaign is engaging in nothing but racism and hate politics, the press should call them on it. That's what the great journalists of the past would do. But when she takes it to mean things like criticizing Democrats for talking about Palin's $150k wardrobe she should focus on the hypocrisy where the Republicans engage in that ALL THE TIME - from Edwards haircut to Obama's preference for wine over beer and so on. The entire McCain campaign is about nonsense issues and suddenly when its discovered Palin spent $150,000 on clothes from campaign contribution money the GOP suddenly starts saying, "hey let's focus on the issues". Give me a break, they're the only ones who haven't been focusing on the issues at all.

So I think we'll have to wait and see how Brown's new show turns out, like I said I do think she is one of the better journalists on CNN so maybe there is hope. Keep in mind though she is married to a Republican consultant and frequent Fox News contributor.

5. I feel like he's as far left as O Reilly is right...
Edited on Tue Oct-28-08 06:04 AM by Tiggeroshii
No pun intended.

Olberman is clearly not very far left. But they are stern and clearly partisan in their views. They have similar approaches but clearly O Reilly is the bigger ideologue and partisan activist plenty more than Olbermann.
