I was actually able to change my dad's mind!

We had a discussion this morning...ok an argument...about prop 8. He was all for it, saying "it's a sin to be queer and get married" and all that stuff. Saying they were costing us tax dollars. Blah, blah, blah.
So I would just tell him that everyone is equal, they deserve it, too. They aren't hurting anyone. Stuff like that.

I left for school, angry, a little bitter at my dad...but when I got home...surprise!
He tells me that he really thought about it and that he is not one to judge. He says they aren't hurting him, it's not his business what they do, and that he is going to vote NO!

I was so excited. Maybe I will be able to get through a bit more to him.
