DU Prediction Thread
Please post the electoral prediction you're willing to make but of which most of us might be unaware. This could be saying that Arizona becomes Obama Country, or that Chambliss gets beat in Georgia or that Eric Massa **finally** beats Randy Kuhl in NY29.

1. We won't be up late on Tuesday to learn the result.
Only to celebrate.

2. The youth vote will be far lower than many posters think
I;ll say about the same as 2004 -- maybe 5% more, tops.

5. Think you're correct.
Went out to a college to register voters and the apathy was palpable. Would you know that out of 200 or so people, every, single, one of them was already registered to vote. Clearly they were just telling me what they thought I wanted to hear so they wouldn't have to talk to me.

3. my only prediction
I get home from work nowadays around 8:45 PM MST

I predict the Presidential Electoral Vote count will already have Obama as the winner when you include CA and HI.

it will be all over but the height of the wave.

11. Exactly my prediction.
BO will make quick work of JM. This will be over by 10pm EST, with the known expectation that CA, HI, WA, and OR will be Obama's.

4. I predict . . .
. . . nearly all predictions will be wrong (other than Obama winning, of course).

6. I can predict a godawful mess, especially here in NM
where the scuttlebutt has it that one in nine Democrats has been purged from voting rolls.

I suspect it's true because I was misclassified as "inactive" when I'd voted in 2006 and in the primary this year.

The judge working the polls confirmed to me that it was a huge problem in this state this year.

A phone call downtown to confirm my voting history garnered me a real ballot. However, multiply that by the thousands on voting day and you'll have jammed phone lines and a total mess.

Bottom line? The Republican Party doesn't want us to vote. They will do anything they can to prevent it. I have a feeling lines will be there at midnight.

This is why early voting is so vital if your state offers it. What will be a minor inconvenience this week could very easily prevent your vote from being cast and counted next week.

7. I'm the eternal cockeyed optimist, I guess...so I'll predict MUSGROVE
will defeat Wicker for US Senate from Mississippi. At least I devoutly hope so!

9. I predict it will take martial law to make us swallow a third stolen presidential election
and even that won't prevail for long once the military has a chance to think about what they're doing.

But, it might hold long enough for the tyrants to grab the gold and make their escape.

Also, Fox News HQ will be a charred shell by then.
