I want to see their faces as they realise they won't get to see the writhing bodies of homosexuals burning in the fires of Hell as they sip their brandy and puff their cigars from the safe, US Marine patrolled SuperMcMansions of Heaven through Gods silver dollar operated Omniscient-O-Scope, chortling fatly while slapping the behinds of sexy, chastised, converted, liberal, lesbian foxy chicks serving them cool, watery, flavourless beer, because there is no Hell and no Heaven.

I want to see their faces as they realise, deep down, finally, that there will always be brown and black people, always, just as there always have been, and that they will never really be able to get rid of them from their minds, and that the black and brown people of this world will always fight for their rights and always ALWAYS win in the end for the simple reason that humanity is just far, far too powerful a force to be smothered under stereotypes and mind games.

I want to see their faces as the military industrial complex slowly collapses and their fortunes go up in smoke along with the duplicity, mendacity, stupidity and ugliness that that economic complex generates and perpetuates, as the mind-poison it generates and feed on rots and sloughs away from human culture once and for all to be replaced, this time *irrevocably*, with the ancient and beautiful ideologies they had thought long since crushed into submission, elegance, efficiency, longevity, grandeur, craftsmanship, enlightenment and all the other qualities necessary for a truly valuable engineering economy that they haven't the wit or imagination to cultivate in themselves.

I want to see their faces at the hideous shock of the disappearance of the prison industrial complex almost overnight, along with almost all organised crime, as the addictive drugs are finally legalised and drug addiction treated for the illness that it is, the financial system underpinning most terrorism and police corruption fading away as if it never was and the criminals they've cultivated such careful relationships with knocking on their doors with their pockets inside out asking for a nickel.

I want to see their faces as they realise they'll be getting no more masturbation material out of CCT footage of protestors being beaten up by crazed, brainwashed policemen or videos of Iraqi prisoners of war being stripped, beaten and humiliated by badly misguided servicemen and women, or bodies twitching in electric chairs, bodies sagging on injection tables, drug addicts being "disciplined" by the "good guy" prison wardens, cripples being tipped off their wheelchairs, mental patients being tasered to death or any other of the sort ever again.

I want to see their faces as they finally sit down and pick apart their own ideology according to consistent, human, logical standards, from conception to hypothesis and realise, slowly, with dawning dread, that along every step of the way their thoughts were perverted almost imperceptibly by nothing more than simple, brutish sadism, the same sadism that prompted the Romans to collective punishment, the same sadism that drove the Crusaders into massacring frenzies, the same sadism that stalked the minds of the Inquisition as their fevered imaginations dreamed up ever more bizarre and revolting punishments for their victims, the same sadism that has plagued humanity since the dawn of fucking time.

Just because you crystallise it out into pretty patterns that look like logical thinking to other people who have no idea what logical thinking is doesn't stop it being sadism.

Oh, sure, and patriotism, I guess, but isn't it interesting that their patriotism always involves doing revolting things to other people? Oh, and morality, except they're only interested in screwing legally with other people's relationships and covering up priest abuse of small kids. And, er, and fiscal responsibility, except when you get to really splash out on a big wad of white phosphorus or a new pain-inducing ray-gun.

Do any of their policies really feature anything other than some twisted expression of sadism?

I don't want to strip them and humiliate them. I don't want to take their land and convert it into a shit-factory of useless technology. I don't want to burn their villages and rape and pillage their fields. I don't want to poke screwdrivers in their eyes or pull out their fingernails.

I just want to see their faces.

Frederick Douglass, the renowned abolitionist, began life as a slave on Maryland's Eastern Shore. When his owner had trouble with the young, unruly slave, Douglass was sent to Edward Covey, a notorious "slave breaker." Covey's plantation, where physical and psychological torture were standard, was called Mount Misery. Douglass eventually fought back, escaped to the North and went on to change the world. Today Mount Misery is owned by Donald Rumsfeld, the outgoing secretary of defense.

It is ironic that this notorious plantation run by a practiced torturer would now be owned by Rumsfeld, himself accused as the man principally responsible for the U.S. military's program of torture and detention.
