I'm most offended that Ashley Todd had to blame a black man

Look, political attacks are going to happen. Signs are going to get stolen, cars will be keyed, but what Ashley Todd did went past the line.

"Oh, a dark-skinned black man (In other words, an extremely black man) attacked me!"

When Todd blamed an imaginary black man for her fake assault, it became clear that she knew what she was doing.

I read somewhere that women who make false accusations of rape and assault are ambivalent regarding the secret sexual desires they consider morally wrong. By falsifying an attack, they assuage their consciences somehow. It's like a bodice ripper syndrome. It's possible that Ashley secretly desires to be swept away by a 6'4" black dude.

There was another death-by-dragging incedent here in Texas that got little coverage. In fact I only know about it from headlines on my PeoplePC home page. I'm almost wondering if it was real. Yesterday, there was a headline about the memorial service. In the first sentence of the article, they managed to squeeze in the Nation of Islam, the New Black Panthers, and the NAACP, in that order. I believe these groups were mentioned to supress outrage in the general public. The story wasn't that a black man was dragged to death behind a vehicle, it was that the Nation of Islam and the Black Panthers were miffed about something.

I read the story and the description of the "attacker" even before I saw the damning picture with the obviously self inflicted facial scratches and I called bullshit.

The media ate it right up, proving that while we the people have made progress, they're the same damn suburban bigots they always were.
