McCain: Gonzalez should not be forced out
http://www.woi-tv.com/Global/story.asp?S=6228677&nav=1LFX

ALTON, Iowa Arizona Senator John McCain says Attorney General Alberto Gonzales shouldn't be forced out and that he should be given ample time to defend himself.

McCain spoke today (Wednesday) in Alton in northwestern Iowa during an interview with The Associated Press.

He says Gonzales' actions should be reviewed, but that he should be given time to make his case.

Gonzales has been parrying calls for his firing from Democrats and Senator John Sununu, a Republican from New Hampshire, among others.

2. IMHO..........
Get his sorry ass outta there. His approbation of torture should have raised red flags long ago; this is just more on the pile.

4. He's working for his payback.
IMO, he has been promised something. My guess...it's the Repub nomination. What's funny is that he believes them. :dunce: He's an old fool.
