4. I take this as another sign
of the conservative Apocalypse. The right is reeling. They don't know where to land on any issue. Global warming? Well, even the evangelicals are lining up with the environmentalists. Health care? Very tough to out talk the Dems on this one without sounding like a socialist. Too tough. Maybe immigration? Yikes, too risky. Might need those Hispanic votes. And don't even mention Iraq; that's how the right lost the mid-terms. Plus, the rightwing hate-talkers have exhausted any Dem. scandal (Berger, Jeffers) that no one cared about anyway. The dirt they've been scraping up is laughable. And they know it. Last week it was Hillary supposedly publicizing Obama's Muslim education (two years). Without proof, of course. Just "sources say".
These people are desperate. They're trying to keep their dwindling numbers from abandoning them altogether. They know they've becoming anachronistic. Stewart, Colbert, and Olberman are taking chunks out of their audience and their relevancy. They're becoming dinosaurs -- the cranky old men on the porch yelling at the neighborhood kids.
So, Hannity tries a new show. The flop sweat is flying over at Faux.

10. Wow. Talk about desperation!
Somehow I missed "Leafgate". I think you've hit on the perfect example of how low they're gonna go to keep the "outrage" going -- since that's what fuels the right: outrage. (no introspection ever! That's the hard and fast rule of being conservative.)
Who's going to tune into hate radio with a..."Leafgate!" Or a phoney "John Kerry has no friends. He's sitting by himself!" photo.
What's with the Hannity/Rush audience, anyway? Still miffed about not getting asked to the prom? Talk about your arrested adolescence. It's worse than that. These people are preteens who still resent the John Kerry/Bill Clinton/Hillary Clinton, etc. smart kids and popular kids.
Get over it.
Leafgate. That pretty much says it all.
