Angry because he was stuck in traffic, Joe McCain, brother of Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain, placed a call earlier in the week to 911 emergency, ABC News affiliate, WJLA reports.

Joe McCain's October 21 call went to the city of Alexandria, Virginia emergency operations. This is the transcript of the call:

Operator: 911 state your emergency

Caller: It's not an emergency but do you know why on one side at the damn drawbridge of 95traffic is stopped for 15 minutes and yet traffic's coming the other way?

Operator: Sir, are you calling 911 to complain about traffic? (pause)

Caller: "(Expletive) you." (caller hangs up)

The 911 operator, apparently, unnerved by use of the 911 emergency number to complain about bad traffic, called McCain back.

The voicemail that the operator was greeted with said, "Hi this is Joe McCain I can't take this message now because I'm involved in a very (inaudible) important political project... I hope on Nov. 4th we have elected John."

Outraged by the operator's action, McCain called 911 a second time. That conversation went as follows:

Joe McCain: Somebody gave me this riot act about the violation of police.

Operator: Did you just call 911 in reference to this?

Joe McCain: Yeah.

Operator: 911 is to be used for emergencies only not just because you're sitting in traffic.

6. This guy referred to those living in Northern Virginia as Communists

That is such a goofy statement to make.

The guy is probably just what we used to call a "crank."

His brother never gets stuck in traffic or faces any of the inconveniences the rest of us share.

He's special. He's a Senator.

"Do you know who I am?" Yep, we sure do.

13. He should be fined!!
My mother once accidentally called 911. She meant to call her sister when she was visiting my home. Somehow she dialed 911. The police came to my house. When I asked if she had called 911, she said she hadn't, but I still got this warning from the police about how I might be fined--they'd have to discuss it with their supervisor.

A week later, my mom was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I think she probably did call 911, in a moment of confusion. I called the police and explained what I thought had happened. They were really good about it, and said they weren't going to charge me...but that it was good I called, because they could have.

But THIS MORAN calls 911 about TRAFFIC?!!! He'd better be charged!!

17. There was a student murdered in Madison last year
in the middle of the day. It later turned out that she had dialed 911 from her cell phone but never said anything and the operator hung up on the call - they get about 90 calls a week with nothing on the other end. The call was on tape but they couldn't tell anything from it.

This really brought the focus on prank calls and accidental 911 calls and whats at stake into the news. She lived really close to the police station, and someone stabbed her to death in the middle of the day. Her murderer has not been apprehended.

So we don't need people calling 911 for stupid stuff.

20. So, John McCain is just another jackass in his family, I suppose.
That's actually a very telling story about John's brother. What kind of person calls 911 to complain about traffic? One that cannot control himself.
