6. For a Repug, Arne wasn't a half bad Gov.

As I recall, he wasn't well liked by the fundie base and lost in the caucus to a more right-wing candidate. With just weeks to go until the general election, the right-winger was forced to drop out when it was revealed he had a habit of coming-on to his teenaged daughter's friends (GOP SOP LOL), so Arne was drafted as a last minute replacement and somehow managed to win.

3. I think Tweety's returned to his roots of late
He worked for Jimmy Carter and he once was in the Peace
Corps. Like many people, he's probably become more con-
servative as he's aged, but I think he sees in Obama
the chance to recapture his youth and idealism -- the
idea that government CAN work and politics doesn't
have to be the refuge of scoundrels.

5. Yeah, he's been reconstituted
The cynic in me says it is because he saw Olberman's ratings eclipsing his; then the rocket to the top of Rachel Maddow. I expect that he is sincere in what he says and does, but was "emboldened" by their success.

7. Tweety knows which way the wind blows.
Rumor has it that he is preparing to run for Spector's seat, as a Dem., that he is laying the ground work for his campaign.

8. Fifth straight day Tweety devotes his time to Bachmann
He looks like he's having the time of his life letting her twist in the wind of her own idiocy.

11. Shoot, I'd even recommend him for a Pulitzer at this point.
this has been truly Murrow-ish the way he's calling this hate and political paranoia out.
