Robo-calls gone wild: I just got one from a Bill Mason "witnessing for Christ."

"Hello, this is Bill Mason and I am witnessing for Christ. I'll be brief .."

WTF? Yes you will be brief. I'll probably break this phone slamming it down on your intrusion into my otherwise peaceful day, Bill Mason.

Mother-of-my-dog, has this country flipped out? Has anyone else gotten this fundy robo-crap shit? I wanted to listen to see if it got political or gave a number I could call back on and raise hell, but the smarmy Mr. Mason's sing-song voice infuriated me after only 14 words.

I would refer Mr. Mason to Carl Sandburg's "To a Contemporary Bunk-shooter," but I'm afraid it would be wasted breath.

This reminded me of the Fundie book by that old bunk-shooter Josh MacDowell. He wrote a religious book entitled Evidence That Demands A Verdict.
To us rude skeptics/atheists it became known as Evidence That Would Be Thrown Out Of Court.

3. I got the same call

It was on my answering machine when I woke up today. I couldn't believe it. For God so loved the world? Yeah, I think that was probably one of the first bible verses I learned as a child. I don't need some idiot from West Virginia calling me to tell me about it. I've heard it all my life from people I know, don't need it from Bill.

I mean, not all phones allow you to see. And in a robocall, the "witnesser" doesn't even listen. ;-)
