27 straight days of rain...31 days is the record and there is no end in sight
My winter blues is coming early this year. We have had 27 consecutive days of rain and the five day outlook is rain and more rain. 31 days of straight rain is our record and it looks like that one is going to go by the wayside. It isn't just a little rain either, we are ten inches above normal for the last month. A lot of states don't get ten inches a year....They say because of "Global Warming" that we can expect even more rain and and so far they have been pretty damn right on..At least we have zero smog...:-(

5. One year Buffalo didn't have a single sunny day from November to February.
Thing is, no one noticed until the paper pointed it out!

6. Key West had a taste of hard rain yesterday

and when hard rain falls on an island of metal roofs - you know it! had the TV vol. on as high as it would go in order to hear Wash. Journal yesterday.

but 27 days of rain must be hell - hope you get some sun soon.

9. Instead of bridges and roads to nowhere
it would have been wonderful to build a system of pipes all along and across the country to send some extra water to the heavy drought south - this year, or to the southwest in previous years.

11. Are you in SE?
I lived in lower SE AK when my 2 yr old looked out the window and excitedly proclaimed "clouds!" Turned out it was blue sky around the clouds that was exciting.

Hoping your weather changes soon.
