Going in Today.
I am going into the VA Hospital for a total knee replacement. I enjoy DU every day and post sometimes. You people are much more intelligent than I! You keep me sane when all Hell is breaking loose.

Sorry to be using your dime for the operation but I am a disabled Viet vet and it is free.Something the right does not understand. Bee dealing with the VA for 40 years and every time a Repug is elected they cut the VA. Believe me I have ins. and could go to another Dr. but I feel safe with this guy!

Also I have a son who is a career soldier. Told me last week that he and the five other career soldiers he in in an office with are all Voting OBAMA! They know whet McSame will do to them, and Failen sealed it for them they do not like her.

So my friends keep up the good fight and I will be back soon.

PS I already voted for OBAMA/Biden!

4. Our thought are for your quick recovery
One hint on joint replacement. Make sure you do the followup physical therapy, no matter how painful. My mother had two knees done and never continued the therapy and now she can't hardly move her legs.

Good Luck

6. Wishing you a fast recovery and you can stuff the apology, you earned at
least that much, so it's not necessary.

9. As the proud daughter of a 27-yr Army veteran, I wish you
great results from your surgery. My dad did 2 tours in Vietnam, and also uses VA services. You've earned your benefits, and I'm happy to know that you feel comfortable with your VA doc. Don't forget to post when you get home, so we know how you're doing!

11. You are in good hands
I use the VA ever since having a DVT six years ago. The first thing I said upon filling out the paperwork to get into the system was I'm here to take orders not give them. You could have heard a pin drop in the whole building when I said that too. Lots of stunned looks on lots of faces quickly followed by wide grins. I couldn't have been treated those 7 days any better if I was a king somewhere.

I wish everyone in America had a VA type system of healthcare, thats how much faith I have in them.
Peace
Get well soon as we'll be needing you in the mailroom. :-)
