I'm not far from Marin, and I regularly take trips across the bridge to visit the West Elm in Corte Madera, as well as bum about in my favorite little Marin town, Fairfax.

I'd totally live in Marin if it wasn't for my insatiable need for tons of sun and 100 degree summer days - so I picked the East Bay, with heavy visitation to Marin County. :-)

So, does your GF like rocking the Palin look? I'm guessing that maybe she has shoulder length brown hair and glasses? And probably looked the way she does long before ol' Sarah became a household name.

If she's uncomfortable with the resemblance, maybe she'd consider contact lenses and a different hairstyle or something until Palin goes back into obscurity? Not that I'm sure she doesn't look nice now, but maybe she's getting tired of the comparisons, and people stopping you in public?

Hard to say - does it bother your GF that people think they look alike?
