Do you feel like it's in the bag?
When I hear McCain calling himself the "underdog candidate" I start to feel joyfully optimistic that nothing can stop Obama. Does McCain know how to run a campaign? Doesn't he know that you aren't really losing until well, you yourself come out and say you are losing?

33. Good chance? They ARE going to steal it again. The question is,
what happens then? Do they just get away with it like the last two times? Or do we go out and make the 1st Brigade work for their pay?

But then I meet some newly registered 18 year old who says, "I'm votin' John McCain!" and I weep a little for all of our futures.

Right now I'm listening to Mark Crispin Miller tell how Ohio was stolen from Kerry on "Democracy Now". If they can't steal the election blatantly this time, what will they do? Another 9-11? Martial law? It isn't over until I see Obama's feet firmly planted in Washington taking the oath of office.

Were legitimate and not stolen. And I don't mean you personally.

That is a lie I am not prepared to live.

The better question would be, what do you plan to do if they steal it again?

21. I did until I went to vote today
I found that somebody had me listed "inactive." I'd voted in the primary last February. I was girding up for a fight and said, "Well, I see they're up their old tricks again," and the poll worker agreed with me, said they'd had a lot of people misclassified in the last few weeks.

I had expected this since I live in a heavily Democratic part of town.

Expect to have Republicans tell you they don't want you to vote. Vote anyway.

And no, I didn't use a provisional ballot. Apparently anyone marked "inactive" in the last month will not have their status questioned.

I was only wondering how difficult it would be to accomplish and who our nominee would be?

But no, I never had any doubt since it began.

Not after the first Repig debate and I seen the freaks the Repigs were running.

The fat lady will have laryngitis before I rest. After Florida 2000 and Ohio 2004, it's never over.
And then, Barack has to be sworn in. So somewhere in late January, early February...***maybe***

Problem is, Rush, Hannity, Glen Beck, and a whole host of right-wing talking turds will start in with their ceaseless game.

So, in cold reality, the battle never stops.

McCain is being Mondale'd by the republicans. Let the old guy go out with the nomination in an election they don't have a chance in hell of winning.

It's not only in the bag, it's Reagan vs. Carter landslide.

34. If a bit, it would be due to the attention and work of people like RFK jr, &
his diligence as to the vote fraud issues.
The constant watchful eyes of those who know the GOP would be up to same old rotten tricks, & not allowing them to make one single move without calling them on it, may make me a little more hopeful.

Kudos to all of them.

39. I feel like the bag is empty.
An Obama win is not in the bag yet.

Obama actually shifting our policies away from the current CFR, Friedmanist, and Straussian nightmare is most certainly not in the bag. Whether he wants such policies or not, he will need us to democratically pressure his presidency back towards sanity.
