So which am I?

I conserve energy and gas and as much else as I can to help the rest of the country. I use less and reduce my footprint on the land. When gas supplies were restricted, I drove less, and I drove slower. If there was a shortage of some sort of food or other goods, I did not get anything I did not need, so others may have it. Those who had more gave more to the government to protect us from outside threats. If I had more, I would gladly give more.

I restrict myself so that we all as a whole can be better off.

In 2008, that makes me a socialist hippy idiot.

In 1942, that made me a great, patriotic American.

My, how times change.
