3. more than 3 years
but you know... I really don't give a hoot about her shopping spree.... The GOP paid for it, and hell, if they're that stupid to spend their campaign money like that, I say good for them.

4. About 3.7 or 3.8 years

Right around that figure, basing it on his base income and a meager increase in pay (jobs). And that's basing it on that he spends no money on ANYTHING else - it all goes to clothes.

5. Well his take home would be about $30,000 at 25% tax rate
and if he was lucky enough to save 10% of his take home pay, that would be about $3,000 leaving out the magic of compound interest (he would keep that for is retirement) it would take a mere 50 years of the principal saved for him to purchase all the clothes sarah wants..he is truly one of those 'lucky duckies'!

8. That assumes his reported income is his real income.
You can do a lot of work under the table in a profession like that - get paid in cash and don't claim the income, so you can charge less while making more.

It's the republican way of doing business.

10. Reading a "young woman's" magazine in a waiting room...
Financial advisers are talking about the worst personal financial mistakes they made. One claimed that she was working full time, taking care of the house and 3 kids while her husband completed his doctorate and she ran up $100,000 in credit card debt from shopping, vacations and parties. When he was done with school but not employed they divorced and she had to pay him alimony plus all of the above. She claims to have negotiated with the credit card companies and paid it off in 3 1/2 years.

I was trying to figure what kind of salary you would have to have to do that and why anyone would go to her for advice. That was the worst but the other stories were really lame too.
