Poll question: Was it a mistake for Joe Biden to have made his comments ...
... regarding an attack within the first 6 months of an Obama presidency?

FOX is frothing all over themselves like some kind of rabid moran at a bubble party, and it's all over the news: Joe Biden, when speaking to donors, said,
"Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America.

"Remember I said it standing here, if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.

"I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it's going happen. I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate."

From the selections below, choose the one that best describes your response to the question:
How will this effect his campaign with independents?

A. it's an easy target for his opponents, taking the conversation away from the economy and may effect their vote negatively

B. it just shows what a loose cannon Joe Biden is and may effect their vote negatively

C. it shows that Obama-Biden are ready on day one to lead America, not just when it concerns the economy, but in National Security as well, since they're already mindful of any future troubles and may effect their vote positively

D. I don't think it matters that much and the independent voters don't care

E. I don't know

F. Other, please see my reply for my take on Biden's comments

1. Put me down for "doesn't matter much."
Biden's comments were standard-issue stuff. I've read them a couple of times and still can't figure out how it's a "gaffe."

5. F) It was a gutsy move, outing the far right's plans to fuck with President Obama and telling
said far right to fuck off. Er, prepare to deal with Obama's resistance to its plan to unleash World War III.

This may very well be the only decision Biden has ever made that I actually LIKE. Before this, I found him odious. Thanks, future Vice-President Biden. Stick around, Sir.

6. if and when it does happen, I will be
far more assured with an intellectual in office, that will surround himself with more knowlege, than I would with the other side riding on testosterone.

8. I don't see the word "attack" in there but he's probably right -some- crisis will burst on the scene
but of course that's likely no matter who the president is. One thing the world's been pretty good at is producing some kind of emergency on a pretty regular basis...

10. I don't see this as a gaffe, but quite frankly I am more concerned about...
assassination attempts than a test coming from abroad.
