Need help with the Daily Kos lawn sign alarm idea....

Does anyone know where to get the alarms they use? I went to Circuit City as the site suggests, but had no luck. I also tried Radio Shack, a sporting goods store, an auto supply store, Target and even stooped to going in Wal-Mart.

We had our signs stolen last night and I'd like to scare the person next time.

1. Just concrete it into a 5 gallon bucket and bury it.

Then see in your mind some idiot throwing their back out, trying to pull it up real quick.

It helps to bolt it to a metal rod, that is set in the concrete. I used this and it kept a sign of mine in the ground that was stolen daily there for over a year.
