Vermont and Maine only states to let inmates vote.
I didnt know they could vote while still IN jail. I thought like other place they would have to wait until they served their time. I like it and I hope anyone who is in jail for some drug charge votes against republicans.

2. Many other countries let inmates vote.
I know for a fact Israel does, as I remember seeing a story about the Israeli elections as a teenager and they showed footage of that asshole who shot Rabin voting.

3. Yes.
As do Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Greece, Australia, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, France....the US is in the minority. GB allows felons to vote after their sentence is served, but that has been declared illegal and is under review.

If you are a citizen in these countries, you may lose your vote in a few for specific frauds relating to the electoral process, but that's it.

4. In Oregon, you can vote from jail
as long as you're not there for a felony or if you were convicted of your felony less than one year before the election you're trying to vote in.
