Hi Hilarity Du Jour: Watching repubics tie themselves in KNOTS defending Barbie's VEEP comments
"But the role of the veep **is** changing"

"She comes from state politics where the Lt Governor has great power in the state senate."

Yelling and screaming and whining all over teevee ......

She brought home a CRAPPY report card with a failing grade in civics and they're trying to defend her.

All the pundits and Democratic spokesmodels have to do is keep chuckling. What a a riot!

1. When they start bringing out the fence posts and boxes of rocks
You'll know they've truly reached the end of the line when they bring out a bag of hair and show empirically how Sarah Palin is actually the smarter of the two. Sometimes pointing and laughing is just so inadequate, but it's all you can do . . .

3. Shuster was relentless with the GOP talking head. The Democrat
was basically just laughing throughout the segment. Beautiful.

4. While defending her, they aren't attacking us!
Every time she screws up, it derails the entire McCain campaign. Luckily for us, that's just about every day!

7. I wish I had the email list of every McCain
contributor, I'd send the picture to them and then point out the problem in case they were too stupid to figure it out. What a fucking moron!!! It needs to be sent to the MSM and pointed out all over the place...don't let the press bury it...it just magnifies how stupid she really is!!!

8. Yeah, but she's not running for state office or Lt. Gov.
She's running for VPOTUS. She needs to read those sections of the Constitution.

Oh. I forgot. To them, the Constitution is just a goddamn piece of paper.

9. FYI: VP explained
The Vice President of the United States<1> is the first person in the presidential line of succession, becoming the new President of the United States upon the death, resignation, or removal of the president, should he or she accept the position. Every presidential term ends on January 20 of the year immediately after a presidential election. As designated by the Constitution of the United States, the vice president also serves as the President of the Senate, and may break tie votes in that chamber.<2> He or she may be assigned additional duties by the president but, as the Constitution assigns no executive powers to the vice president, in performing such duties he or she acts only as an agent of the president.

As President of the Senate (Article I, Section 3), the vice president oversees procedural matters and may cast a tie-breaking vote. There is a strong convention within the U.S. Senate that the vice president not use his or her position as President of the Senate to influence the passage of legislation or act in a partisan manner, except in the case of breaking tie votes
