Poll question: Has John McCain said how his "plan" for health care will protect people who have insurance...
And yet still have to declare bankruptcy because their bills are too high?

Of course McCain knows that you lose your insurance in a case of bankruptcy and you have no chance to become insured again.
1 you can't pay for it;
2 you are too risky because bankruptcy is a far from healthy event.
McCain's concern is: how can a insurance company make and maximize profit? You have to insure that a steady stream of money comes from you and that it is very unlikely that you claim more than you pay.
