Oh brother! Joe the you-know-what has been invited to join Palin in Ohio and he said...
...he's not sure if he'll appear with her tomorrow; he's not sure if he should "join the campaign." WTF does he think he was doing when he hit the talk show circuit?

Local news also reported that small business owners in Florida have started some kind of JTP group because this wonderful man has put a face on their concerns.

When Obama wins, does he think, the repugs would give a fuck about him then?

Edited on Wed Oct-22-08 12:49 AM by liberal texan
an "average American" which to them means a white protestant male

19. Talking about Joe prevents discussion of McPalin's qualifications and policies
And waving plungers is something McPalin supporters find exciting to do. So the McPalin campaign loves them some Joe

7. I missed part of what Keith Olbermann had to say about Joe
tonight, but what he seemed to be saying was that Joe may have actually been a plant. Something about a donation? Did anyone catch that? If true, I hope the McCain campaign does use Joe and then this story blasts them again.

11. The media are getting dumped on conservatives who are pissed that they dug up stuff on Joe.
He's just a private citizen wanting to ask a candidate a questions, dontchaknow. Just a poor victim. How dare the media start asking questions about this guy who popped up in the debate a couple dozen times.

I think our local media, anyway, is feeling the heat and backing off. Except to give glowing reports on his appearances in the media.

The venue for Palin's speech in Ohio tomorrow: Findlay University (a Church of God school).

“Joe the Plumber” gets a bail out
Mark Mason and Dave Anderson interview "Joe the Plumber" who thanks everyone for their donations.

Samuel “Joe” Wurzelbacher, a 34 year old Ohio resident, asked Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama a question about how his business would be affected by the Obama tax plan. Republican Presidential Nominee John McCain picked up on the question and brought it into the national spotlight during their final debate.

It turns out that Wurzelbacher owes $1,200 in back taxes and needs $500 to pay for a plumber’s license.

NewsRadio 1190 KEX’s afternoon hosts Mark Mason and Dave Anderson from Portland, Oregon heard of Wurzelbacher’s plight and wanted to help. Mason and Anderson secured the website http://www.savejoetheplumber.net/ and started accepting donations. The goal was to cover Wurzelbacher’s tax bill and plumber’s license. By the weekend, $1,821 had been raised from donations coming from 31 states.

“The government is bailing out financial institutions,” said Mason. “We thought we’d help give Joe a bail-out.”

--------

isn't this like.... ummmm...welfare? why didn't Joe the plumber go out and get 2nd-3rd job? after all, according to bush working multiple jobs to make ends meet is "uniquely american". Is "joe" unamerican?

yeah, I know - the irony is lost upon the mccainiacs
