When I heard his middle name was Robinette contacted my family .... we're all registered with numbers (largest family reunion on record) and Joe is registered! the good news.... my right wing relatives will all be voting for him!!!

... settled in and around Wilkes Barre in the 1870s. There are doubtless some lingerers in the area still. Curious if they crossed paths with the Bidens, Finnegans ( mother's family) or Robinettes.

9. My Mother's family came from Johnstown, PA

Should I duck now? Mom left Johnstown a long time ago and she is voting Obama. Right after the primaries, she was a little unsure, she liked and trusted Hillary and just wasn't sure about Obama. And she remembers McCain from prior to 2000 and still thinks of him as a bit of a maverick. But I have worked on her, and explained things to her, especially the supreme court, and she is definitely voting Obama now. I really think that picking Biden helped a lot. We live in Maryland btw. My relatives in Johnstown are democrats, they realize what is good for them at least. But that one comment that he made during the PA primary about gun-toting or something really turned them off. I'm not quite sure what they are doing. Guess I should make some phone calls.
