Tinklenberg raises $740k, announces ad buys

Blaine, MN – El Tinklenberg announced today that his campaign has raised more than $740,000 in online contributions since remarks from his opponent, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, made national news Friday.

In addition, it was learned this morning that the Cook Political Report upgraded the Sixth District race from Likely Republican to Toss Up.

Campaign spokesman John Wodele said today the campaign has purchased $188,000 in network and cable television time, $52,000 in Twin Cities radio, and $20,000 in St. Cloud radio through Election Day. Radio ads have begun and television ads start today. Wodele said additional media buys will follow.

6. Unless we invoke backwards day!
"Berg" is mountain in German.

So...

El is the Mountain that will keep Bachmann (German spelling, by the way) from "Tinklin" on us any more!
