And now there is the accusation from Republicans that the Community Reinvestment Act, Democrats in Congress, and ACORN are responsible for the credit crisis and subprime mess. And what did voting with George Bush’s positions over 90% of the time bring us besides the economic mess? High crimes and misdemeanors, the greatest assault on American freedom and the Constitution of the United States, which is every citizens birth right as well as crimes against international treaties and standards. What sort of anti-American sentiment do you have to have to send almost 5,000 men and women to their deaths for a lie??

There's plenty of investigating to do but you know damn well it will never get done. I hope Obama mops the floor with these people. I hope and pray for a landslide. THEY DESERVE IT.

11. Speaking of cars

I went outside Saturday morning and discovered that both of our cars had been egged. I thought it might just be some pre-Halloween pranksters, but on the pickup, the Obama '08 sticker had been the specific target. The same for my car, which has an assortment of bumperstickers, including "Impeach Bush," "Writers Against Bush," etc. Seemed apparent that whoever did it was trying to make a statement. I have an Obama sign in my front window--either they missed it or perhaps thought it might wake us up if they pelted it too.
