Besides Palin on SNL, what else might garner high ratings?

The high ratings for Palin's shot on SNL, in my view, do not translate into any political advantage whatsoever.

I think she got the high ratings in the same way a televised event showing a man cutting off his own penis might get.

Or a staged train wreck.

Or the ignition of a nuclear device over a South Pacific atoll.

Or George Bush, falling off a Segway, hitting his head on a jar of pretzels, and ending up with a bruise on his forehead in the shape of a monkey holding a banana.




To the credit of SNL, the entire duration of her appearance was one long goof on her. They were laughing at her. Not with her. At her.
