Who should anyone be surprised that she can do a canned reading of a few lines while sitting at a fake news desk?

That's her entire career right there, up until the time she joined the PTA.

Yep, she got a degree a Communications Degree (not Journalism...BIG Difference) from a small school and then went on to the 149th market in the country. Not what I would call network quality. However, she was able to parlay her exposure into a political career...we saw this with others as well (anyone remember JD Heyworth?).

Her TV experience teamed with what appears only a part of her it. It appears she was a regular on the pulpit of her churches over the years...learning how to "preach it" and "stir the souls". A lot of what she is trying to do is religious in nature...speaking in codewords to a specific audience. I'll bet she even sees this election as either a "mission from god" or "crusade".

You could see with Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric how alien she is of the corporate media. Her insulated, religious world that made her popular in Alaska just doesn't play well on prime time TV.
