Ok, MSNBC just cut off Obama's rally in St Louis after only a few
minutes while they showed most of McSame's earlier. Anyone else notice that?

6. Looked fairly sizeable, what little of it they showed. Also, there excuse
for going away from the rally was that there were "problems with the signal". The rally was taking place under the Arch and I'm postitive there are DUers there now that will report in later.

18. Actually, from the angle that the shots were taken, I had the
impression that the crowd was small. Only after I saw the photographs on DU did I realize that there was a record number of people there. Also, on MSNBC, they were talking about how large and enthusiastic the McCain/Palin crowds were.

19. Daytime MSNBC programming is a Republican...
fear-fest! Seriously, I resent the "technical difficulties" that pre-empted the HUGE Obama rally in St. Louis today. I find it extremely suspect. Both MSNBC claimed they would cover it, but failed.

11. Yep.
I switched over to the history channel to watch "Band of Brothers." Grim, but it at least has some basis in reality.

5. Who was the moderator of the show?
I notice some cut off the speech of Obama or Biden more that others.

Andrea Mitchell, the blond with the puffy hair and David Gregory
show more Palin and McCain by about 30% more.

I'm watching Dr. Strangelove on TCM

10. I've been keeping a record with CNN, MSNBC and Faux

I can watch all three programs at the same time. Andrea Mitchell is the worse of
the three I mentioned giving McCain/Palin more airtime on MSNBC. Faux hardly shows
any Biden and very little Obama.

24. Yep. He's a corker!
I hate when "fair" = equal credibility given to truth and falsehood. It's worse when falsehood gets the nod and truth (100,000+ in St. Louis) gets swept aside. Nothing to see here, people, let's move along.

Obama draws record crowd in St. Louis
from The Swamp by John McCormick

by John McCormick, updated

ST. LOUIS - Standing under the Gateway Arch, Sen. Barack Obama spoke this afternoon before a crowd his campaign said totaled 100,000, a new U.S. record for his presidential bid.

"All I can say is wow," Obama said as he took the stage, his home state behind his back across the Mississippi River.

The Illinois Democrat had in May attracted about 75,000 to an event in Portland, Ore., before that state's primary election. In Berlin, he drew more than 200,000 during a foreign trip in July.

The campaign provided a name and number for a St. Louis police officer to verify the estimate. He could not be immediately reached.

17. That's SOP for GE-TV, which is why I rarely have my set tuned to their channel.
Keith and Rachel are must-see TeeVee for me, and Matthews is sometimes-see TeeVee. Shuster does a pretty good job, too, but the rest, not so much. Other than those I've mentioned by name, GE-TV bends over backwards to spread McSlime's talking points.
