Obama will inherit a real mess

He truly must love America wanting to take on the job.

It will be difficult. That was by design (money grab etc...) If anyone can turn it all around Obama can. We will all have to help.

The country is in a worse mess than the Great Depression or WW 2. We are in an unnecessary war that is costing us $10 billions each month, we have a balance of payments deficit of $700 billion annually, which amounts to $2300 for every man, woman, and child living in this country. Foreigners now control over $12 TRILLION dollars of our assets, and we are all poorer as a result. The only way we can recover is to end the war, invest in the technology that will end our dependence on foreign energy sources, invest in the infrastructure of the country, and investment in other areas such as education, health care, etc. To fund these programs will require additional taxation, which should come primarily from those most able to afford pay.
