1. That's what we do in Jamaica
Once you place your ballot in the box, you dip you finger in purple ink. We have voter ID cards which people welcome because many people don't have passports and they are accepted everywhere. No one here minds a free ID card.

We had serious voter fraud in the 80s and early 90s, but the depoliticization of the Electoral Commission really cleaned things up, as well as civil society groups life CAFFE. Jimmy Carter used to lead the international observer groups watching out elections but when the Carter Center was invited for our last election, they said we didn't need overseas observers.

2. Or red and blue.
It is time to know who our neighbor is, as well as our doctor, our child's teacher, our banker - all those we interact with.

Show me your red finger and I will know you are ignorant and a potential threat to my overall well-being.

Show me your blue finger and I will know you will support my vision of a caring, compassionate, synergistic civilization.

3. I'd show my unmarked middle finger,
if anyone wanted to force me to prove which way I voted.
