:wow: How far down the rabbit hole are we? :freak: :freak:  MARCH ON WASHINGTON BEFORE THE ELECTION October 17, 2008 | Hildy
Posted on Friday, October 17, 2008 8:32:54 PM by Hildy
I'm sick about the fact this election is going to be stolen right from under us and they're doing it right in our faces..AND THEN BLAMING US! We need to let Washington know that we are mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore. People, we have to do something...our leaders are not going to do it. We have to take back this country...if not for you, for your children adn your grandchildren...I can't believe less than 10 years after 9/11 we're giving away our country....Let's brainstorm here...

To: Hildy Vote, and take as many of your friends as you can with you to vote. Buy them lunch and make it an event. Get on ever blog or message board as possible, especially those where undecided people from swing states may read. Volunteer to be a poll worker and carefully check all IDs and report every attempt at fraud that comes up. Fire up Conservatives. Turnout is key. They can’t steal it if it isn’t close.

To: Hildy Right now we need to put all of our efforts into getting John McCain elected. Volunteer at a John McCain center, send money, make phone calls. He’s not an ideal candidate, I know, but he’s better than a Marxist.

To: Hildy NO! THERE IS NOBODY IN WASHINGTON. THEY ARE ON BREAK AND OUT OF SESSION. "MARCH ON" YOUR LOCAL PRECINCT!
THAT IS WHERE THE ENEMY DOES NOT WANT MASSES OF AMERICANS WORKING HARD TO KEEP THEIR COUNTRY. THEY IN FACT WOULD PREFER WE RUN OFF TO D.C. ON SOME PIPE DREAM.
Sorry for my rudeness, but this is woefully ill-advised and misdirected.

To: beejaa My point is that more and more it seems that nothing we do is going to lead to McCain winning. THEY ARE GOING TO STEAL THIS ELECTION..how else do you explain the absolute cockiness of this camp? If what happened in Ohio and Boston today doesn’t convince you, I don’t know what will.

To: AmericanInTokyo So what do you suggest? At the mere mention of Republicans cheating the threat of blood in the streets is mentioned. And us? We shake our heads and curse and bitch and we do nothing...NOTHING. I’m sick of doing nothing. So tell me, what should I do?

To: Hildy MO Rass has Obama up 7? CO up 7, NV up 5??
Again, other than AA and young morons who make it to the polls, where is this 50%+ support coming from? Where? I swear to God I’ve tried to look for it and can’t find it. Honestly, I can’t find the Obama base.
McCain/Palin shouldn’t be getting the numbers they’re getting at rallies if they were this far down. If we pull this out, there should be a March on all the media outlets. Their psychological warfare is unreal. If McCain was finished, I’d know it, and most FReepers here would probably acknowledge it too like most of us knew how the 06 midterms were going to turn out. But this is different. Since Palin, I know of no massive number of conservatives staying home. I’ve seen scores of Hillary voters crossing to McCain. Where is this difference being made up?
Again, I’ve looked at the numbers over and over again in VA, FL, and OH and compared them to 2004. Unless a sizable portion of the GOP stays home, we should win them all. For Obama to win FL, he’d have to blowout McCain in PB-Brow-Dade and win the I-4 corridor which has turned more red since 2004. McCain is solid in the north and panhandle (except Tally). For Ohio, McCain is winning Appalachia and the west OH and my Democratic Union relatives in Stark County say he’s doing well there.

To: beejaa sorry, I don’t believe in making phone calls. I don’t think it does anything. I will be driving Republicans to the polls on election day, I was supposed to work the poll that day, but I could not make the training session, so I can’t do it. I’ve sent money...I’m talking about more than that. We have to get loud...we have to get loud.http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2108505/posts
