On her
Reno radio show earlier this week, host Christiane Brown interviewed U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV).
She told him about
Standing For Voters, which is asking candidates throughout the country to sign a 'no early concessions' pledge. Then she asked, "Would you be in favor of candidates agreeing not to concede until every vote is counted?
Reid: "I don't know why anyone would even consider conceding until all the votes were counted."
If you're concerned about the integrity of the election in a particular Congressional race -- or any other race, for that matter -- go to
StandingForVoters.org and follow the easy steps to ask candidates to take the Standing For Voters pledge:
I, _________________, pledge to use my candidacy, whenever feasible, to advance the preservation of democracy. I will officially challenge the results of the election as provided by law if the combination of election conditions, incident reports, and announced election results calls into question the reliability of the official vote count. Should another candidate be declared the winner in my race, I will wait until all valid votes are counted and all serious challenges resolved before conceding defeat.
