SNL should tell Palin - "We'll book you as soon as you've been on Meet the Press."
I hate to see them giving her a forum to be funny and "adorable" when she has thumbed her nose at the press and the public by denying access to herself and her views in an absolutely unprecedented fashion. And, it doesn't have to be Meet the Press - it could be any major, unscripted Sunday show - aside from Faux News.

I heard someone on the radio today say that Joe the Plumber has given more press opportunities than Sarah Palin!

3. Sorry, but I think too many people are getting too bent out of shape over this one
Threatening all kinds of SNL boycotts or retribution. Yet the fact of the matter is that SNL has been one of the lead outfits skewering Palin, week in, week out. Yet people around here think that somehow, someway SNL is going to stop busting Palin's chops simply because they invite her on the show. Frankly, I think that SNL is going to use this chance to skewer her even more.

We'll see on the twenty fifth.

9. I am with you
SNL has been attacked for being "partisan" and leftist. This is a perfect opportunity to provide an opportunity for the Repubs to trip all over themselves and it innoculates SNL to some degree.

In fact I think I heard a spokesperson for SNL say they have an "open door policy" prior to the election.

Net, I don't see how we can be mad at SNL. They're doing a great job with this election and I for one do not want them to be seen as "in the tank" for Democrats. Never works out.

and I think that they should not have any exposure that would help them at all. I am losing my support for SNL.

5. I can understand why people are concerned about this. After all, it
was when Hillary Clinton appeared on SNL that voters really fell in love and put her over the top in the later primaries so she won the nomination.

6. Good thing for her New Yorkers are known for their politeness
She's also shown that she has a great sense of humor, she can laugh at herself, and a steady stream of monkeys fly out of my butt.

7. In a way it highlights how frivolous and unpresidential Failin is
She shows up on a comedy show but not on a serious one. Easy to use against her.
