Why Hasn't The Secrete Service Arrested Those Threatening Obama?

Both Palin and McCain have Secrete Service Agents surrounding them at all times, those Agents are at the campaign events where Obama's life is being threatened and in close proximity to those making the threats. Why haven't the Agents yanked those people out of the crowd who call for Obama's death and charged them? Isn't it a Federal crime to threaten a candidate? Aren't those Agents empowered to arrest? Is it not the duty of every Agent to protect all in their charge, not just the one's who they are assigned to on any particular day?

under Bush has been corrupted, imo. They have been politicized. I don't think most of us understand what a hostile environment Obama is dealing with.

are dedicated; ie, they have a designated responsibility and adhere to it.

No. they have a "principal" assigned, and that is ALL they do. That's why they do it well.

Any distraction has to be ignored, lest that distraction be a ploy to lure them away from the principal. Investigations are dealt with by different agents, after the fact.
