"Senator Obama, I'm not President Bush...
If you want to run against President Bush, you should have run four years ago. I'm going to give a new direction to this economy and this country."

Great job jhuth

Would how did we get in the mess we are in John, have been a fair question? John was over 90% for Bush, before he was against him.

Why didn't McCain answer the question about who he would have working with his administration if he were sElected in November...does he want to distance himself from his other GOP friends too? Guys like Phil Gramm?

1. If McCain wanted a new direction for this country, then he should have endorsed John Kerry 4 years
...ago.

McCain campaigned for Bush in 2000 and 2004.

4. There wasn't one.
Obama said "When President Bush came into office, we had a budget surplus and the national debt was a little over $5 trillion. It has doubled over the last eight years."

Then McCain made the I'm-not-Bush remark.

Then they moved on to another topic.

5. Senator Obamas cool response was...
Edited on Thu Oct-16-08 08:11 AM by Hubert Flottz
"If I've occasionally mistaken your policies for George Bush's policies, it's because on the core economic issues that matter to the American people, on tax policy, on energy policy, on spending priorities, you have been a vigorous supporter of President Bush."

8. Obama did a GREAT job last night I thought.
Bob and John double teamed Obama and he still scored by far, the most power punches. He kept his head and he dominated again, just like in the last two meetings between the two. All Obama had to do was to sit there and calmly tell the truth.

The American people are sick and tired of the lies(made for TV GOP "Reality")and the liars, like Bush, McCain and their political "Brain" Karl Rove.
