Freepers: What's up with Fox?
After the debate was over, the "conservative" pundits immediately trashed McCain. This was followed by Frank Luntz, who declared that is focus group idiots loved Obama (of course Luntz also said Palin was the knockout debate winner and McCain would surge in the polls after her debate).

This is supposed to be the conservative network? I switched over to PBS, and Clarence Page was giving more credit to McCain's performance than the Fox pundits. Same on CNN.

I’m done with them. Unbelievable. Once again, after watching a debate I feel like I’m in the twilight zone. Husband said the same thing. It’s like we were watching something totally different.

I know. I’m thinking, ‘What the....’ did they watch the same thing I did? Just stupid. Guess its okay to lie all through it like Obami did.

Believe nothing you hear after a debate.

Wait for the trend to show in the polls but don’t even trust the actual numbers they show.

Barry was on his heels in this one. McCain stood him up.

I cannot believe the poll voting goes to Obama. Had enough with Fox.

I don’t know but I just turned them off. They are so gushing with praise for Obama that it made me sick to listen to them and I turned them off. There wasn’t a single person talking on Fox who though McCain “might” have won the debate. They all agreed that Obama wiped the floor with him. Absolutely disgusting.

"This is supposed to be the conservative network?"

No, it's the Fair & Balanced network.

Disconnect.

They have been in DC so long, they are beyond seeing the obvious sometimes.

They are about their careers.

Pay it no worry.

Talk radio will be ON FIRE tomorrow!

CHARGE!

A few nights ago I was yelling at the Fox News Channel. Can’t trust them anymore!

More there, don't want to cut and paste anymore. Let's just say, the walls in their little world are crashing around them.

1. Murdoch likes to back the winner
moreso than he is a conservative.

He's smelling that Obama is winning, so naturally FOX is now talking up Obama.

I'm sure it's making the true believers over at FR blow a gasket. :D

12. I really wouldn't have believed it
But I guess it is so. Murdoch is ideologically unbound, unless it lets him accumulate more power and/or wealth. Which "conservatism" does 90% of the time. Or so he thinks.

6. It's the freeper motto that polls are to be trusted only if they show your candidate ahead or
very close.

If they, and all others, show your candidate behind by 9 points or more, then by the freeper motto, you must automatically state that polls cannot be trusted.

However, if suddenly, a few weeks later, those same polls show a tight race again, then they've become trustworthy.

13. I'll tell you what else they won't believe.
They won't believe it when Obama wins the election. They won't believe it no matter what the margin of victory is. It's scary, really.

14. No matter what happens on election day, keep believing that McCain won!
Even when Obama has more votes, don't believe the liberal media!

15. My opinion...
on why Fox showed some honesty for once tonight...

Either they really want McCain to lose and will gamble on running a more acceptable candidate in 2012, or...

Maybe they're coming to the realization that Obama is the only guy who can get us out of the financial mess we're in...

I refuse to believe they're simply calling it as they see it...there's a motive there somewhere.
