Worst...job...EVER? "Al Qaeda in Iraq's No. 2 dead"...AGAIN!
U.S. military confirms killing of al-Qaeda's no.2 leader in Iraq

Wednesday the death of al-Qaeda in Iraq's second-in-command, who was killed during an operation in the northern city of Mosul ten days ago.

It said that U.S. forces have identified the body of Abu Qaswarah, alias Abu Sara, a Moroccan.

He was the senior operational leader for the militant group's Iraqi wing, which is headed by Abu Ayyub al-Masri.

One of the five suspects shot dead in a raid by U.S. troops on October 5 at a building used as key command-and-control location for al-Qaida in the city was later identified as Abu Qaswarah, the military said.

During the raid on Mosul, which is described as one of al Qaeda's last strongholds in Iraq, U.S. soldiers came under heavy gunfire and then a suicide-bomber blew up his vest.
