Any Link To A Real Time Price-Earning Ratio Average For the S&P 500?
The historical average PE ratio is about 19, and it has dropped as low as the high single digits during times of recession and extended bear markets. It would be nice to know whether the market is over or under valued.

Who knew that despite the steep drops, we are not yet in historical bargain territory, which is 9.1 according to this chart:
