7. Some things you can do to make your pumpkin last longer:
1. Toss one lemon & about 2 cups of water into your blender & blend thoroughly. After your pumpkin is cleaned out, but before carving, pour the lemon water into the pumpkin, put the lid on & shake so the entire inside gets coated. (You can probably use bottled lemon juice too.)

2. Instead of lemon juice, once carved, coat the entire inside of your pumpkin with Vaseline. Don't forget the edges of your design, too.

3. Keep your pumpkin in a cool place. I move mine from the house to the garage at nighttime & it added days to my pumpkin's 'life.' If you don't have an issue with outdoor animals or freezing, you can place it outside instead of the garage. Or if you have an extra fridge, you can place it in there. If you display your pumpkin outside all day, try to keep it out of the sun.

Good luck! I love Halloween! And I love carving pumpkins!

8. Love these, though the cindy mccain one is really frightening!!
Trying to download and it is going a bit slow, with a few start overs. I am trying for the Obama Logo (I think it is in my 'carving ability' range). Has anyone else downloaded any design from here yet?
