Republicans, including John McCain, will do and say anything to get elected. Look at all the bullshit McCain has said in just the past month, changing his rhetoric whenever the political climate changes. He's no maverick, he's no radical, he's just another republican

I remember being at a party some years back and talking with a woman, who seemed to have some have some intersting things to say- we talked for a bit and then it came out- "that's why I'm a Republican!"

I said "really? what are some of the environmental policies that Bush (Bush I at the time) has enacted that you like?"

Pregnant pause.

Just another Republican. I hope she learned.
