Keith clearly reads a lot to be as informed and as outraged as he often is.

Maddow absolutely does a ton of independent research, she doesn't strike me as someone who exclusively depends on staffers for her information --which is why she's so good.

As a fairly regular listener, I can think of plenty of times that Randi was not quite up to date on the latest issues or updates.

Meanwhile, over at DU, the issue had already reached the top of the Greatest page.

Malloy, on the other hand, frequently mentions DU and even individual posts and the poster's name. And so does Thom Hartmann.
